We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Commissioning Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing Warehouse Control System (WCS) software solutions according to agreed sales specifications to develop the warehouse from the ground up, resulting in a fully-fledged, user-friendly automated warehouse solution. Key Responsibilities for the Software Commissioning Engineer:
- Implement WCS software solutions in line with agreed sales specifications.
- Test and implement different functional development requests.
- Identify problematic software areas and suggest solutions for potential error scenarios during the go-live phase.
- Handle and implement system updates and bug fixes.
- Streamline the testing and integration processes.
- Work alongside the project PLC team to ensure smooth integration between WCS and PLC
- Adjust functional development requests, specification documents, and definition documents as required.
- Handle customer communication regarding project progress
Key Requirements for the Software Commissioning Engineer:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software commissioning, preferably in the intralogistics industry
- Strong understanding of programming languages
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel as required.
