Field/Methods Engineer (M/F) (15/04/2024) Rainville, France

We are looking for a Field/Methods Engineer (M/F) for one of our clients with the following details: 

Starting date: ASAP

Location: Rainville (France)

Languages: English and fluent French

Knowledge:

  • Training in general engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas and industrial sector
  • English: reading, speaking, writing level B2
  • French: read, spoken, written level C1
  • Software: MS office, MS project and SolidWorks are a plus

Purpose of the mission :

  • Preparation of equipment for the manufacture of pipe-in-pipes and offshore
  • Based on a contract specification, definition of the specifications for the Ranville team in charge of execution (MTO machine, planning, etc.)
  • Updating risk analyses, and related project documentation (refer to project SDR)
  • Drafting/finalizing work instructions (including risk analyses)
  • Interface with the customer to anticipate the integration of our equipment on the customer's production site
  • Coordination of the Ranville project team in charge of the execution
  • Drafting of detailed packing lists, spares and maintenance plans
  • Coordination of logistics and export of equipment to ensure a smooth return of material
  • Accurate reporting of work in progress, difficulties encountered and opportunities (readiness)

Organization and follow-up of equipment tests.

  • Drafting of procedures, FAT reports (including ITS)
  • Support for the drafting of quality control forms.
  • Organization of the test in Ranville with the support of the project management
  • Participate in testing at the customer's site or at a supplier's site.
  • Reporting on work in progress, challenges and opportunities.

Organization and follow-up of qualification operations for the onshore and offshore phases.

  • Drafting of the qualification plan for operators for the vacuum sealing of stalks.
  • Participation in the training for vacuum sealing with the different steps (drilling, fitting of the
  • suction cup, insertion of the plug)

Participation in onshore and offshore activities at the Vigra site in Norway

  • Be the guarantor of safety and quality at the customer's site
  • Implementation of the procedures developed during the onshore and offshore spooling phases (drilling and vacuuming)
  • Daily Progress Report

Diverse:

This mission is based in Ranville in the 14th, with the possibility of 1 to 2 teleworking days per week.

Travel is to be expected at suppliers (France and abroad), including 2 months at the customer's site in Norway
