We are looking for Manufacturing Method Engineer and/or Equipment Design for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Vosges, Grand Est, France (On site)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Renewable: Yes
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Mechanical engineering training.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Methods and/or Equipment Design
- Computer skills (MS office) required, CAD knowledge (SolidWorks, AutoCad) would be a plus.
- Exemplary QHSE.
- Good writing skills.
- English: Intermediate.
Purpose of the mission:
- As part of the preparation of workstations and flows, the Methods Engineer is in charge of the following activities:
- To appropriate the REX of previous projects.
- Design/select equipment for the perimeter for which he is responsible
- Write technical specifications.
- Consult with outside companies.
- Take into account the maintenance and robustness constraints of the equipment to be purchased/refurbished
- Be the technical referent for the proper installation and start-up of installations
- Write work instructions, operating procedures, etc. necessary for production
- Proactively participate in risk analyses and failure mode analyses.
- Draw up lifting plans in the case of special lifts.
- Write regular reports to the project team.
- Monitor and update the project schedule
- To support the resolution of potential HSE and quality problems.
- Formalize the REX project at the end of the mission.
