Salary: GBP35000 - GBP40000 per annum + benefits

Due to continued growth and investment a well-respected globally recognised engineering business is seeking a Production Manager to oversee their assembly and manufacturing facility.  Working in the YO14 0AF area our Client is offering a Competitive Salary + 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays + 5% Pension Contribution + Discretionary Bonus + Training

In the role Production Manager, your duties will include:

  • Management of manufacturing and product assembly
  • Preparation and maintenance of relevant product and project reports
  • Development and implementation of quality control systems & production tracking
  • Managing of production and assembly teams, ensuring lean manufacturing processes are being adhered to and implemented

This position is a key role in the business and will require an ability to manage and communicate across all functions.  It will be suited to someone who is keen to develop and improve current processes whilst also having a passion for manufacturing and who thrives in an electronic assembly environment.

We want to speak to people who can display some of the following:

  • Experience of working in a management position in an electronics assembly environment
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacture and other methodologies
  • Highly organised with proven experience of applying improvements
  • Sound IT Skills with knowledge of various process systems
