This could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

We’re working with a well-established engineering business in Bristol looking to strengthen their design team. This position offers a great mix of design, project ownership, and customer interaction across a range of technically interesting products and systems. • Manage projects from concept through to completion
  • Create detailed drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials
  • Work closely with manufacturing, assembly, and test teams
  • Support installation and commissioning activities when required
  • Visit customer sites to assist with delivery, installation, and issue resolution

About You

  • Experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Strong SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD) experience
  • Background in designing engineered products, systems, or equipment
  • Experience managing projects or taking ownership of design delivery
  • Confident liaising with internal teams and customers
  • Practical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

 What’s On Offer

  • Salary £45,000 - £50,000
  • Early finish Friday, 33 days holiday, specialist training, wellbeing platform
  • Varied and interesting project work (low volume, high value)
  • Opportunity to see designs through to real-world use
  • Customer-facing exposure and occasional site visits
  • Supportive, collaborative engineering team
  •

Ideal for engineers who enjoy variety, ownership, and working on technically interesting, non-standard projects without being locked into a single product line.
