Process Engineer – Somerset

37hr week (Half Day Friday)

Our client is a leading manufacturer within a specialist industry. Since being founded they have grown significantly and are now looking for an Process Engineer to join the team as they continue to become a market leader.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct reviews of process effectiveness, research and develop new processes, implementing new processes
• Liasing with engineers to reduce scrap, reduce manufacturing costs, reduce non-value added waste
• Lead improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process
• Lead plant equipment improvement activities including major CAPEX Projects

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• HNC/HNC Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a process control environment
• Experience within a foundry, casting, furnace, material science environments
• Lean Manufacturing tools – 8D, FMEA, OEE, 5Y
• Understanding of key process control measures
