This role is based at a key production facility in Didcot. It’s a hands-on position where you’ll play a vital role in keeping operations safe, compliant, and running efficiently.
The Role
As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient running of the main plant and satellite sites
- Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
- Assisting with planned maintenance, shutdowns, and improvements
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Troubleshooting plant issues and supporting continuous improvement
- Managing spare parts and maintaining accurate records (SAP and site systems)
- Providing on-call support for out-of-hours issues when required
- Acting as a site representative when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or recognised apprenticeship
- Experience working with electrical systems in a production or industrial environment
- Strong focus on health & safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently when required
- Proactive approach with a positive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during shutdowns
