This role is based at a key production facility in Didcot. It’s a hands-on position where you’ll play a vital role in keeping operations safe, compliant, and running efficiently.

 

The Role

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient running of the main plant and satellite sites
  • Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
  • Assisting with planned maintenance, shutdowns, and improvements
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Troubleshooting plant issues and supporting continuous improvement
  • Managing spare parts and maintaining accurate records (SAP and site systems)
  • Providing on-call support for out-of-hours issues when required
  • Acting as a site representative when needed

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or recognised apprenticeship
  • Experience working with electrical systems in a production or industrial environment
  • Strong focus on health & safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently when required
  • Proactive approach with a positive, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during shutdowns
