Our client is a world leading producer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Pressure Systems Engineer to join their close knit team. With sites across the world they provide genuine opportunities for progression.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and expertise on piping, vessel and heat exchanger systems, develop program of safety, reliability and plant. Develop strategies for pressure equipment.
Provide design engineering for pressure equipment including development of technical specifications, mechanical strength and fabrication drawing.
Develop repair procedures and inspection/test plans for modifications, repairs, fabrication and installation of pressure equipment.
Understanding of key engineering principles to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve them effectively.
Perform, review and approve engineering design calculations and work with 3rd party engineering contractors to implement design changes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Mechanical Engineering Degree.
Chartered Engineer desirable .
Experience within petrochemical, power industries, oil and gas.
Working knowledge of pressure vessel & piping codes
