About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic clean water capital delivery team on a contract basis. You'll lead the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects across the North West – including mains renewals, pipe maintenance, and network upgrades.

This role is ideal for a contractor with strong utilities or water sector experience, looking to add value to critical infrastructure programmes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, delivery, and handover of clean water projects

  • Deliver works using techniques such as slip lining, pipe bursting, and open cut

  • Maintain programme delivery to time, cost, quality, and safety standards

  • Oversee contractor performance and stakeholder engagement

  • Interpret and review project designs, challenging and advising where necessary

  • Ensure all activities comply with SHE and regulatory requirements


Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing clean water or utilities projects

  • Knowledge of mains renewal techniques and construction methods

  • SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification

  • Understanding of NEC contract frameworks

  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery

  • Full UK driving licence
