Our client is a leading utilities and infrastructure business who are going through a period of huge investment and growth. We are helping them source a Junior Software Engineer to join the evergrowing team which provides training and development opportunities.
About the role:
- Assisting senior developers in coding and testing PHP applications
- Learning and implementing best practices in PHP development
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in PHP code
- Participating in code reviews and making improvements based on feedback
- Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Assisting in the integration of third-party APIs and services
- Testing and optimizing website performance, including page load times
- Collaborating with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience
- Participating in brainstorming sessions for innovative feature development
Skills / Traits
- Basic understanding of PHP, PHP Laravel, and web development concepts
