Our client are a leading Utilities and Infrastructure business who are going through an exciting period of investment, growth and change. Due to the growth of their business, they are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager.
About the role
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day and long-term marketing activities and strategy for the Group.
Principal Accountabilities
Marketing:
Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
Overseeing the company's marketing budget.
Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
Managing and improving lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of marketing communications.
Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new initiative launches.
Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
Production of the summary, the internal company newsletter.
Preparing, executing and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines across all company documentation.
Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
Developing and growing the website content and messaging, bringing flair and creativity into marketing the brand.
Managing all aspects of the LinkedIn page, through campaigns, news, features and people. Growing connections and relationships whilst growing the brand.
Social Media:
Overseeing the social media strategy for the company, ensuring it aligns with the company's brand.
Engaging with customers through the use of social media.
Keeping up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms.
Maximising followers on social media platforms such as Twitter and Google.
Ensuring approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium.
Monitoring social media for customer comments, both positive and negative.
Building reporting frameworks to evaluate return on investment on the various platforms.
Engaging with customers to resolve customer service issues and/ or create positive PR opportunities.
Continuous research into relevant social media channels and their impact on the brand.
Working with the work winning and sales teams to look at ways social media can work within wider campaigns.
Analysing social media insights to guide future social media campaigns.
Developing a content calendar across all platforms ensuring a constant supply of relevant content.
Holding workshops for the wider business including the work winning & operational teams to explain the importance of social media and how it can positively impact their campaigns.
Reporting on social media mentions of the brand internally providing useful feedback to product and marketing teams.
Searching social media for off-diary stories and content.
Planning and delivery of community management strategies through social media.
About You
You will have the following desirable qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in Marketing & Social Media
Qualified chartered marketer (CIM membership)
You will have the following knowledge and experience:
Demonstrable experience of operating at a strategic level within marketing, communications and social media.
Proven track record of developing and delivering engaging marketing campaigns.
Experience of evolving and building a company brand and corporate identity.
A breadth of knowledge in relation to social media and content strategy.
Experience of effectively harnessing social media to drive business growth.
Expert knowledge of creating engaging content for social media channels.
Experience within a fast-growing company would be advantageous.
