ABS Commercial is a Professional Services Business that works across Telecoms, Utilities, Highways, Rail, and Construction. 

Due to our continued growth and success, ABS Commercial Solutions are looking to appoint a SHEQ Advisor to work within our Telecoms department to ensure our surveyors are adhering to and following company protocol. As this is a newly created role, we require a motivated and enthusiastic induvial that is able to develop and implement processes alongside coaching/training the team.

Typical responsibilities can include.

• Support and assist with the investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Prepare and undertake HSQE audit, Inspections, and calibrations for Company related activities as required
• Complete and distribute relevant audit, Inspections, and calibrations reports
• Develop and maintain a program of Inspection on Safety-critical equipment and PPE
• Identify findings and make recommendations/implementations to our SLT to prevent re-occurrence.
• Site audits and inspections
• Identified plant and equipment calibrated, tested, or inspected
• Undertake briefings in line with agreed timescales

The ideal candidate will have a positive and proactive attitude, they will be able to communicate throughout our business and have a people-focused approach to their work. Experience within a similar role is imperative along with the NEBOSH qualification. You will ideally have some telecoms knowledge however applicants in similar industries are welcome to apply. Confidence in using IT and MS packages is essential.
