Test Rod & Rope Engineer (ABST110) Anglesey, Wales

As a Test Rod & Rope Engineer you will be responsible for test rodding and roping of Openreach UG ducts / pole bends.
You will use up to date client standard operating procedures and work in full compliance to current legislation, health and safety requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities include
- Rod and rope underground duct using a Cobra or 3 metre rods
- Work to PON completion deadlines to ensure operational requirements are met
- Complete works to high standards expected by ABS and our Clients
- Reading and understanding Openreach Duct diagrams
- Identify and report blockages via our A55 process
- Have a good Understanding of MS Office and being I.T Literate
Skills & Experience
- Need to have Experience working on the BT/OR network
- Able to complete A55’s electronically on a laptop/ iPad
- Confined spaces is desirable
- Driving licence (no more than 6 points)
- NRSWA Accreditation (unit 2 needed)
- Good English

- CRB check will need to be provided before any offer
