Salary: GBP45000 - GBP60000 per annum + Additional benefits

Our client a leading utilities and infrastructure business are currently appointing a Project Manager to work around Maidstone and the South East. As a Project Manager your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific jobs you are working on within a fast-paced environment that is always striving to achieve bigger and better.

You will be responsible for undertaking the management and delivery of working projects and singular works activities, inclusive of planning and resourcing of labour, ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to. Production of both RAMS and SSoW client dependent. Arrange the procurement and delivery of materials to the site inclusive of checking all quotations as required.

Responsibilities include.

  • Work with all staff and clients to ensure that works are completed both on time and within budget.
  • To pro-actively generate leads and opportunities for further and continued growth and development.
  • To react to other leads from existing customers or in-house.
  • Ability to upsell the HV/LV services to existing customers.
  • Produce RAMS and SSoW.
  • Conduct and produce an alteration of work schedules and/or programmes as and when required.
  • Undertake site visits to ensure ongoing works are advancing in alinement with schedules/programmes, ensuring client satisfaction, and ensuring that no ‘risks’ arise to the business.
  • Communicate with clients as required to assist in the delivery of both new and ongoing works.
  • Work alongside and improve safety rules, instructions, and procedures.
  • Carry out regular skill reviews with engineers to better understand training requirements for assigned engineers.

To be a successful Project Manager you will have experience in operating in a commercial, multi-divisional, fast-paced environment with good knowledge and understanding of current HV / LV electrical installation techniques along with up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation, technical advances, health and safety practices, and risk assessment. You will ideally have gained your NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent or HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent and have previous experience of working in the High Voltage industry.
