Pipefitter Chargehand – All Shifts
Location: Teesside
Pay Rate: £21.67 per hour + Shift Allowance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipefitter Chargehand to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business in the Teesside area. This is a permanent position, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work across all shift patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and supporting a team of pipefitters, ensuring work is delivered safely and to high standards.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

• Delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality assurance.

• Carrying out hands-on pipefitting duties as required.

• Enforcing health & safety procedures and promoting safe working practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Chargehand / Supervisor in heavy engineering, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries.

• Strong technical understanding of pipefitting processes and tools.

• Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

• Recognised trade qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent).

• Flexibility to work all shifts (days, backs, and nights).
