Birmingham 2022 is recruiting for a diligent Office and Facilities Management (OFM) Coordinator. This role will see you working as part of a close-knit team, supporting the day-to-day running of the Commonwealth Games Headquarters OFM functions by using best practices to manage resources, services and processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Office and Facilities Manager with sourcing furniture and fittings required for Games Headquarters, Technology operations centre, Games operations centre etc. as required and within the set budget; ensure procurement rules are always followed.
- Coordinate and deliver the activities around implementation and management of the environmental management system at Games Headquarters.
- Deputise in the absence of the Office and Facilities Manager.
- Ensure a safe and functional work environment of all OFM contractors against set SLAs and KPIs; complete regular audits.
- Organise and maintain Games Headquarters first aid, fire marshal and mental health first aid training, policies and procedure.
- Resolve issues in a timely manner; investigate and resolve complaints from staff and/or visitors to Games Headquarters in relation to OFM matters.
- Respond to all emergency situations within the Games Headquarters.
- Undertake performance management, development, coaching and training for all direct reports.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience within a Facilities Management / Office Administration experience.
- Understanding of office/environment health and safety requirements.
- Able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
- Confidently manage your own workload and prioritise conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above.
- Food Safety Level 2 Qualification.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until August 2022
Location: One Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2JB (full-time, office-based)
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum
