Your new company is an Industry leader providing their clients with exceptional electrical services across Australia. They have over 20 years of operational experience here in Australia looking after everything from asset management/repairs and maintenance to transport systems. Due to winning a large project they currently need an ITS Drafter to join their team based in Northern Sydney for a 3-6-month contract with an immediate start. There could also be further ongoing work for the suited candidate.
Role
In your role as the ITS Drafter, you will be responsible for delivering mainly 2D but also 3D designs via AutoCAD, drafting on various electrical requirements for lighting systems, telecommunications, power reticulation layouts and electrical service schematics. You will be liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and innovation whilst meeting project timelines.
Requirements
To be successful in the role you will ideally need:
- In-depth experience drafting in AutoCAD both 2D & 3D
- Previous experience in ITS Drafting is heavily desired
- Experience in electrical drafting, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong communications and time management skills
- Transport New South Wales knowledge
- Exposure to or experience with MicroStation will be highly desirable
