We are Currently Seeking a leading hand electrician for a well known electrical company for a full time position based in northern Brisbane.

Due to steady growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work this company are currently seeking experienced Construction Electrical Leading Hands to join their growing team.
You will report directly to the directors and your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Manage, lead and mentor the site team to achieve project objectives
• Assume responsibility for completing the project within budget
• Control the procurement of materials as and when required
• Manage site relationships and attend site meetings
• Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards
• Support project reporting when required

About You:
You are a competent and committed site-based Leading Hand Electrician comfortable leading by example. You enjoy taking overall responsibility for leading your crew and coordinating on-site construction activities allocated to you. You get great results via effective motivation and guidance of your colleagues and associated subcontractors.

• 5+ years practical site experience
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve company objectives
• You will have proven success in medium to large scale construction projects
• You will have a strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude
• You will have a strong commitment to safety and a safe work environment
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Hold an QLD Electrical license and other relevant certificates
• Large cable termination experience well regarded
