Client;
Our client are an E-power engineering enterprise specialising in development of full life cycle low – medium volume electromagnetic products and design services, who due to major business wins are looking to add a Machinist to their growing business.
Main responsibilities include:
- Experienced toolmaker operating manual machines including Lathe, Mill, Grinding Machines [horizontal and cylindrical].
- Experience with operating CNC machines including Mill and Wire Eroding
- CNC programming
- Working in markets for Aerospace, Defence, Oil and Gas, Automotive and Marine
- Knowledge of work with quality systems [AS9100 and BS EN ISO 9001]
Experience and qualifications:
- Experience manual machinist working on Lathes, Mills and Grinding machines.
- CNC operator experience.
- CNC programmer [desirable]
- Knowledge of working on 3D cad systems [Solidworks] desirable not essential
- Manufacturing and process knowledge for - machine development
