Vending Machine Engineer (092/080925) Dundee, Scotland

Driver Hire are seeking a physically fit and adaptable Vending Machine Engineer to assist our client in Dundee. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting vending machines across Scotland. You'll be working with heavy equipment and travelling all around Scotland, so this job suits someone who's practical, independent, and not afraid to get stuck in.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and fault finding on vending machines
- Travel regionally to service multiple sites
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients and machine users
- Adhere to health & safety and equipment handling procedures
- Adapt to changing schedules and route demands
Requirements:
- Vocational qualification in a relevant field, such as:
- SVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Electrical or Electronic),
- SVQ Performing Engineering Operations Electrical (Level 5),
- or equivalent.
- Experience in vending machines or experience in a similar role is preferred; trainee candidates with the right foundation are welcome
- Full UK driver’s licence required - no major points or endorsements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Capable of manual handling and physical tasks.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Scotland.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary £30k-£35K.
- Monday to Friday
- 0800 – 1700
- The successful candidate may be offered a full time permanent position with the client following a 12 week probationary period through Driver Hire
