Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case Manager (JN -122025-411852) Woodland Hills, California

Salary: USD35 - USD41 per hour

 

Must have Chapter 11 experience
This role supports bankruptcy case administration by managing creditor matrix data, preparing Schedules and SOFAs, coordinating First Day case setup, and serving as a primary client contact. The position requires strong communication, organization, and Excel proficiency, as well as the ability to manage multiple case components simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, prepare, and process creditor matrix data; research missing creditor information.
  • Create and maintain the First Day Workbook and coordinate client approvals.
  • Set up debtor website and hotline, including drafting voice message scripts.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding items needed for case filings.
  • Prepare, update, and track Schedules and SOFAs; circulate drafts and amendments.
  • Review Disclosure Statements and Plans to identify voting parties and solicitation needs.
  • Create Plan Class Report templates for IT to populate.
  • Delegate tasks and follow up with team members to ensure completion.
  • Review Affidavits of Service (AOS) and support Claims and Noticing teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned cases, managing email and phone communications.

Top Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of chapter 11 bankruptcy experience
  2. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  3. Direct experience with Schedules and SOFAs
