Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Clinical Lead to join Student Counselling (Mauri Ora) on a permanent basis.
This is a management/clinical leadership role, working within a large counselling team and smaller leadership team, to effectively provide quality counselling to students in a busy, challenging but rewarding university environment.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
Your strengths will include adaptability, flexibility, excellent relationship building skills and resilience along with a sense of humour. You will also have excellent interpersonal /relationship building skills with the knack of bringing people along on the journey.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience leading a team and supporting staff with risk and case management.
- At least 10 years clinical experience and must have current professional registration/membership.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, operational management and business development.
- Knowledge and experience of Te Ao Maori and working with whanau, Pasifika, Rainbow and Migrant communities.
- An understanding of Primary Health Organisations and management of mental health and wellbeing projects.
