Student Health at Victoria University is seeking two experienced practice nurses to join our clinical team on a permanent basis.
This is a clinical role, working with our team of nurses, general practitioners, and support staff to contribute to the delivery of effective quality primary care to Victoria University students in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will also work closely with Student Counselling, the Health Improvement Practitioner, the Health Coach, and other student support teams
You will have:
- Broad experience in a primary health care setting
- Experience in triaging and assessment of acute needs
- Experience in sexual health and contraception would be an advantage
- Empathy and interest in working with a diverse student population
- Experience and interest in working in Māori and Pasifika health is an advantage
- An ability to work independently with confidence
- Proven experience using practice management software
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate from the Nursing Council of NZ
- Evidence of current professional indemnity
