Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Academic Policy and Reviews Officer to join the Academic Office. The role will be responsible for providing advice coordination and support for academic programme reviews, and academic policy development and other Academic Office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to review panels including drafting reports.
- Assist with the development and revision of academic policies
- Actively participate in the wider academic quality assurance functions of the Academic Office

You will be a individual who can take the initiative, provide excellent administration and policy support.
You will thrive in this role by being well organised, a clear communicator and have excellent skills in dealing with people. You will be able to build and maintain positive working relationships and networks in the wider university environment, be a clear communicator and have excellent writing skills.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in formal note-taking and report writing
- Able to synthesise large amounts of information
- Experience in policy development and implementation
- Capability to work as part of a team as well as having individual responsibilities.
