We are seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time (30 hours per week) School Administrator to work closely with staff and students in the School. This is an opportunity for someone with energy and initiative to add to the efficient running of this collegial school, where you will assist with student advice, course and school administration, facilitating events, website updating and minute taking.

The School Administrator is required to demonstrate quality performance in the key areas of:

  • Course administration: room bookings, tutor coordination, student support, excel;
  • Office administration; assisting with resources and facility maintenance
  • Minute taking and committee support;
  • Event assistance;
  • Website maintenance;
  • Financial payment processing, purchasing

The role necessitates excellent relationship, self-motivation and communication skills. An advanced level of excel would be advantageous as would previous experience working in the University environment. An innate ability to use initiative and creativity to help provide a quality experience for students and staff is beneficial.

The successful candidate will ideally have a tertiary qualification and at least two years of administrative experience together with financial experience in administrative roles. Knowledge and experience of the tertiary sector will be an advantage.
