Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

The role of the Videographer - Post Production is to provide a range of creative media services that support the unit. This includes running shoots in studio or location, editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable finished product, creating motion graphic elements to be used in final products, colour grading, sound mixing, file management, distribution, archiving and all aspects of video post-production. This is a fixed term (6 months) full-time contract (37.5 hours/week) with an immediate start.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

We are looking for a creative thinker with the right technical experience who can work well as part of a small team. Beyond being comfortable operating video equipment during shoots, you will be working on all aspects of the postproduction process from capture to delivery.  As part of a small team, you will be comfortable wearing many hats. The successful candidate will have a good combination of the following skills/experience:

  • Filming using professional video/cine cameras and equipment in various environments including studio and location shoots.
  • Advanced video editing skills using Adobe suite - not only technical but creative editing vision.
  • Sound mixing/editing experience.
  • Motion Graphics skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Photography/illustration/music and other creative media skills will be an advantage.
