The Student Interest and Conflict Resolution Advisor must work in the best interests of the University including its community of students and staff. The Student Interest and Conflict Resolution Advisor must also assist the University to meet its mission, and strive to behave in a manner that reinforces the University's values.

You will have excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and facilitation skills as well as possessing advanced decision-making, time management, and prioritisation skills. You will have a consistent and professional approach to your work with a focus on resolution and positive outcomes.

You will be skilled in providing advice and guidance and your work will involve behavioural risk assessment, complex case management, conflict resolution, and provision of advice to staff and students. You will also respond to and support students who make disclosures or reports of sexually harmful behaviour, and support and educate students who have engaged in harmful behaviours. You will also have an understanding of legal processes as well as a knowledge of the tertiary education sector and environment.
