Having recently implemented the first of three phases of a new HRIS system the Human Resources (HR) Team at Victoria University of Wellington is looking for a Business Analyst to lead workstreams for a programme of work spanning HR process, policy, systems and capability.
Working in a small project team, where you will be required to turn your hand to a variety of aspects of the delivery of our programme of work, you will engage with colleagues spanning the HR service offering and user groups across the entire University to gather requirements, design and test solutions. You will be responsible for scoping, leading and facilitating workshops, analysis, business process definition and refinement, documentation and implementation.
You will bring your skills and experience in business transformation and change projects to this complex environment and in return you will work with likeminded colleagues, who enjoy problem solving, continuous improvement and transforming the way we work.
Familiarity with HR, payroll and recruitment systems is beneficial although not essential but demonstrable experience in large scale, complex organisations should be shown in your application. Change management experience is will also be an advantage.
The HR Team provides, staff developmental, strategic, tactical and operational advice, support and services to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Deans, Heads of School and Central Services Directors and Managers across all areas of human resources activity, including the provision of payroll services to the University.
