The School of Design Innovation at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is looking for a Senior Tutor to join us for one year, to support our growing Master of User Experience Design (MUXD)  programme.

The Senior Tutor position involves providing teaching support, lecturing and grading, as well as collecting the best work our student produce for exhibition and outreach projects.

You will have an in depth understanding of User Experience Design and related fields, sound stakeholder management skill and a proven ability to manage conflicting work prioritises.

As part of our team, you will play a key role in a knowledgeable team that directly facilitates the education and development of future designers.

The MUXD programme includes topics spanning graphic design, information design, product design and user experience design: generalist knowledge and skillset in these areas is requisite for the role. The MUXD programme is also very involved with industry collaborations and our new Auckland campus – the role will also support these initiatives and some travel between the Auckland and Wellington campuses will be required.

The successful applicant may be located in Auckland or Wellington.
