Student Health at Victoria University is seeking an experienced practice nurses to join our clinical team on a permanent basis.
This is a clinical role, working with our team of nurses, general practitioners and support staff to contribute to the delivery of effective quality primary care to Victoria University students in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will also work closely with Student Counselling, the Health Improvement Practitioner, the Health Coach and other student support teams.
You will have:
Broad experience in a primary health care setting
Experience in triaging and assessment of acute needs
Experience in sexual health and contraception would be an advantage
Empathy and interest in working with a diverse student population
Experience and interest in working in Māori and Pasifika health an advantage
An ability to work independently with confidence
Proven experience using practice management software
Current Annual Practicing Certificate from the Nursing Council of NZ
Evidence of current professional indemnity

This role requires safety checking through the police vetting system under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
