We are looking for a Fabrication Specialist for one of our clients with the following details:  

Start Date: 20 June 2025

Duration: 36 months

Location: Doha Qatar

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
• 8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines.
• Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.

Technical and Business Skills

• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects.

Activities:

• Review relevant project deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Review the project schedule to confirm compliance with contractual timelines.
• Review fabrication yard and facilities to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Oversee of material deliveries to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure they meet project standards and requirements.
• Liase with welding, lifting, and NDT specialists to ensure proper coordination across all disciplines.
• Atten weekly project interface meetings to address and coordinate construction activities.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to PMT.
