Senior Quality Engineer on NDT (255555) Paris, France


The main duties of the Senior Quality Engineer are the following:

  • Leading and coordination of the team for Input Data analysis and participation if needed
  • Leader on comparison of non-destructive testing methods for reactor pressure vessel forgings
  • Leader on Quality Assessment rules analysis for non-destructive methods
  • Leader on Topical report elaboration (from first revision to final revision after submission of Customer comments)
  • Leader from technical point of view for discussions with Customer
  • Support Customer during the report validation process by End user and STUK
  • Progress follow-up and reporting to the client management


  • Have a technical degree with proven experience in mechanical process and testing engineer in nuclear equipment manufacturing,
  • Very good knowledge of non-destructive testing methods, notably (high level of skill for NDT mandatory) :
    • Ultrasonic testing,
    • Magnetic and liquid penetrant testing,
    • Visual and measurement testing,
    • Good knowledge on destructive testing methods including,
    • Experience in quality assessment rules application in nuclear equipment fabrication, experience on reactor pressure vessel forgings is preferable,
    • High level of nuclear safety sensitivity,
    • Document writing capacity as well as a good level of oral English (fluent in English Language),
    • Versatile, Adaptable, Rigorous, Good interpersonal skills,
    • Versatile, Adaptable, Rigorous, Good interpersonal skills,
    • Good skill on MS office utilisation
    • The standards concerned:GOST, EN, ISO, ASTM, RCC-M and ASME
    • The regulatory framework applicable: Regulations of Russian, Finland, EU and American


  • Metallurgy, Mechanical and process engineer with experience in NSSS equipment fabrication (+ quality control management)
  • Material science on metallurgy, mechanics education10 years in nuclear NSSS equipment manufacturing
  • 15 years mechanical engineer in NSSS, with quality experience and NDT knowledge


  • UT/PT/MT/VT Level II (COFREND or ASNT) or equivalent


  • English 
  • French and/ or Arab is a plus
