Senior Technical Lead Engineer Owner Engineering Business (255555) Paris, France
JOB PURPOSE
- Assystem’s Front End Engineering Team (FEET) is in charge of the international development of nuclear activities and drive development of an offer “Owner Engineering Services” to countries authorities and future utilities that decided to build and/or operate VVER nuclear plants.
- Technical Senior Lead will join FEET to be responsible of these Owner Engineering Services. He will detail the content of Assystem offers and will support both commercial team and projects team in this area.
- He can be assigned to occasional missions and may intervene in all of the phases of a NPP project:
- Preliminary phase (technology selection, site selection, …)
- Decision phase (structure, cost, financing, schedule, risk analysis, go no go, …)
- Design phase (Feasibility studies, preliminary safety / safety reports, detailed design, supplier selection…)
- Construction phase (component manufacturing, site construction and plat erection, testing, commissioning, final safety report, …)
- Operation phase
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOUR
- Senior profile in nuclear design management projects or NPP construction field or owner engineering activities,
- Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulation (AIEA, US, EUR, …) and their application to new-build projects,
- Knowledge of VVER technology and context,
- Strong technical leadership to become internal referent and to obtain customer trust
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate proactively in a multicultural environment
- Experience within early stages of nuclear power implementation,
- Experience with Nuclear Power Plant multiple phases (basic design, construction, commissioning and operation),
- Experience with EPC or EPCm contracts
- Experience in multi-cultural work environment
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- More than 10 years in nuclear environment
- Language: Fluent Russian and English
- French Arabic or Turkish (B2) are a plus
