Location: Bradford

Shifts: 12-hour Days (08:00 to 20:00) & Waking Nights (20:00 to 08:00)

Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a specialist support package in Bradford, providing intensive support to a young adult with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, anxiety, and behaviours that can challenge. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life while developing your skills within a specialist complex care setting

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and resilient Support Workers to provide 3:1 support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, both within the individual's home and out in the community. The individual requires consistent support to manage anxiety, maintain routines, access education and appointments, and participate safely in community activities. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing emotional support, reassurance, and positive behaviour support
  • Supporting access to education, appointments, and community activities
  • Maintaining a safe environment for the individual and others
  • Supporting with daily living skills and promoting independence
  • Following risk assessments, behaviour support plans, and care plans
  • Supporting with safe use of public transport and community access
  • Recording incidents, observations, and daily notes accurately
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals and family members
  • Responding calmly and professionally during periods of heightened anxiety or behavioural escalation

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for compassionate, confident, and proactive individuals who can provide consistent, person-centred support in a complex care environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in Health & Social Care
  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities
  • Experience working with behaviours that challenge
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working days and waking nights
  • Commitment to promoting dignity, independence, and positive outcomes
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
