The company
Our client is a growing specialist electronics manufacturer with an innovative product.
They would like to appoint a production engineer.
Job Description
Day to day responsibility for providing technical expertise, diagnosing, and solving problems.
Working with engineering and production staff to keep assembly, manufacturing systems working.
Support with the introduction of new production equipment and test rigs.
Planned maintenance of existing machinery including calibration of equipment and measuring systems.
Implementing and improving new process and procedures.
QMS support to Quality Team (ISO9001).
Person Specification
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working experience with QMS systems including support for the preparation of internal and external audits.
Excellent interpersonal skills i.e., Teamwork, Responsibility, Customer Service
Works well under pressure.
Electronic qualification or relevant experience.
Conversant with 2D & 3D CAD packages for the design, modification and checking of components.
Knowledge of Health & Safety principles and practice.
The role is Monday to Friday daytime (office hours).
