Electrician/ Electrical engineer with knowledge of low voltage distribution switchgear?

This position offers a wide variety of opportunities to work on applications for Low Voltage Switch-gear, often following projects from quotation stage through to final test and inspection offering technical product support and liaising internally to expedite orders successfully.

The successful candidate would work with and report to the Technical Manager and support both the customer and the wider business.

Ideally you should have knowledge & experience of:

Low Voltage switchgear, circuit breakers and fuse gear.

Ability to take technical phone calls assisting customers with problem solving and product advise.

Knowledge of the BSEN 61349 specification would be very helpful.

Some site attendance is occasionally required.

You would also have a test room which you would over-see the running of.

This is a senior position within the company in which you would liaise with the Factory Manager regularly, eventually accompanying him on visits to customers premises or sites to discuss project work.

Initially you will be responsible for the day to date issuing of orders and requisition of equipment, liaising with production personnel on constructional requirements.
