This company is experiencing an extraordinary rate of growth due to the success of their products and the environmental credentials of their chosen sector.

Their products include a range of in line automated test systems as well as semi-automated measuring stations- these include pick and place technology and the associated safety controls.

The  product manager is responsible for the technical management of new and existing products. Developing concepts into delivered products working with the Technical Director and other product managers to deliver the product strategy.

Ideally you will have an electronics background and understand how to take an existing design and update it as well as having enough analogue skills to design small modules.

 The group of products you will manage include metrology products using resistive and capacitive techniques used to measure coatings. You will work closely with the engineering team to bring each project to completion with a mix of office and home working, some travel to client site is expected too.

Any experience of developing metrology or instrumentation would be ideal what is essential is an understanding of the physics of test, an outward facing attitude with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers and excellent technical skills.

Salary is flexible and subject to our client's assessment of your experience relative to the other team members.
