Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Glasgow based client on an on-call only assignment – an immediate start is available.
This role would suit a semi-retired or maybe a person with child care commitments
What’s on offer?
- On-call only position, with a two-week rotating schedule
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 16:00 to 08:00
- Week 2: Friday to Sunday, 16:00 to 08:00
- £250 base on-call payment, with an additional £19.26 p/h for any hours worked
- On-site for more than 15 minutes? Get paid for a minimum of two hours
Skills required are the ability to work in an FM environment, being able to work alongside tradesmen (plumbers, electricians, joiners, etc) to maintain the fabric of the building.
Such as: changing out light bulbs and tubes, moving and installation of equipment, touch up painting of walls and ceilings, ability to use basic hand tools and carry our basic maintenance on your own.
Please Note – Having a valid Disclosure Scotland Clearance is a requirement for this position.
