A specialist medical equipment provider is looking to recruit a Junior Field Service Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer, technician or mechanically minded individual looking to build a long-term career within a highly specialised industry.

You'll receive full product training through a structured 2-year development plan, working alongside experienced engineers to develop your technical skills and become a fully competent Field Service Engineer. The Role

  • Assist with the installation, servicing and repair of specialist medical equipment
  • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections at customer sites
  • Learn fault-finding and diagnostic techniques from experienced engineers
  • Support customer training and provide a high level of service
  • Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
  • Travel to hospitals, dental practices and healthcare facilities across the UK and Ireland

The Candidate

  • Engineering experience, qualifications or a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • Keen to develop a long-term career as a Field Service Engineer
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence
