Field Service Engineer (Water Treatment)

South Central England - Ideally based around Basingstoke, Reading or Oxford

A specialist water treatment engineering business is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South Central region. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer looking to work on a wide range of industrial water treatment systems across sectors including manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and aerospace.

The role offers a mixture of servicing, maintenance, commissioning and technical support, with excellent long-term career prospects within a growing organisation.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair water treatment systems including Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Water Softeners, Filtration and Effluent Treatment Plant
• Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and technical support both on-site and remotely
• Complete installation and commissioning activities where required
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of technical support
• Produce service reports and associated documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high safety standards

The Candidate

• Multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer with relevant engineering qualifications
• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or technical support engineer
• Experience within water treatment would be advantageous
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
