A growing provider of healthcare equipment servicing and maintenance solutions is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join its expanding engineering team. Covering the South Coast region, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong mechanical and fault-finding skills to work on a range of healthcare and patient-handling equipment across care homes, hospitals and healthcare facilities.

The role offers a mixture of servicing, maintenance, compliance testing and repairs, with additional earning potential through overtime, on-call duties and overnight stays.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair healthcare equipment including hoists, beds, baths, wheelchairs and pressure mattresses
• Carry out LOLER inspections and testing on lifting and patient-handling equipment
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults at customer sites
• Complete planned preventative maintenance in line with service agreements
• Ensure all work complies with quality, health & safety and environmental standards
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service across the region

The Candidate

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician or Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with basic electrical knowledge
• Experience working on healthcare, mobility, lifting or rehabilitation equipment desirable
• Organised and methodical approach to maintenance activities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS checks

• £32,000 basic salary
