THE ROLE
I am now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a large firm of PQS in Abingdon, Oxfordshire to work as a Project Surveyor.
You will need to have around two years or more post graduation experience and either be working towards becoming chartered or recently chartered with the RICS.
You will work on projects ranging in value from £5m to £200m.
Our client seeks someone to work on a range of projects for residential, healthcare and infrastructure sectors.
You must have been working for a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants and have good pre and post contract experience.

Our client is a successful large firm of multi disciplinary consultants with offices across the UK and Worldwide.
THE CANDIDATE
I am now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (Project Surveyor) who has around two years or more experience post graduation or who worked throughout your degree and is almost chartered or someone who is recently chartered to work as a Project Surveyor.
You should have worked on projects across the whole project life cycle.
You will work as part of a their Abingdon, Oxfordshire office on projects of high value from £5m to £200m.
You will need to have a good Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar and you must have worked for another firm of private practice quantity surveyors or multi disciplinary consultants.
As the Project Surveyor you will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management, value management and agreement of final accounts etc.
Knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contracts preferred.
Ideally you will have worked on a range of projects previously.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
Salary is from £29300 to £43940 or slightly more plus pension contribution and RICS fees and many other benefits.
