Salary: GBP35000 - GBP40000 per annum + Additional Company Benefits


Hampton’s are currently working with a private Adult’s Learning Disabilities services provider to support them with the recruitment of a Service Manager based in Bolton consists of six self-contained flats providing residential accommodation and nursing support for males with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs which is currently rated GOOD with CQC.


The appointed Manager will be expected to provide a needs led service for adults with learning disabilities by adopting a person centred approach that fosters self-awareness, personal growth and gives each person the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices.


The appointed manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering the home’s Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same.
You will be expected to ensure all aspects of the Management of the home meet with the National Care Standards Act 2000, the requirements of CQC and contract compliance, together with all other relative legislative requirements.


Candidates suitable for this post will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience of working with adults with Learning disabilities and Challenging Behaviour
  • Recent experience at management level
  • Working in partnership with other professionals e.g. health, local authority, CQC
  • Experience of delivering training and undertaking coaching
  • NVQ Level 5 or be willing to work towards
  • Nurse PIN required RNLD / RMN 
  • A good knowledge of conditions relevant to people with LD & Challenging Behavior
  • The ability to write reports and to chair meetings


Annual Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependant upon experience) + Bonus and Additional Benefits
