Instrumentation & Control Apprenticeship – Hobart Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Identified.
MEGT and Honeywell are looking for an Electrical/Instrumentation and Control apprentice based in Hobart to commence in January 2022.
If you have good customer service skills, an ability to work as part of a team, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, then MEGT and Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) believe you may just be a perfect apprentice program candidate!
Being an HBS apprentice allows candidates with the right attitude to learn the technical skills required to gain a career in some of Australia’s fastest growing industries – Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), security, life safety and energy management.
Electrical/Instrumentation and Control apprentices learn how to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical equipment and devices. Instrumentation and Control apprentices work with the systems that keep workplaces safe, secure, comfortable and energy efficient.
What we are looking for:
- Identify as an Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander person
- Completed year 12 or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Be able to pass an Aptitude test at a high level.
- Willing to complete a four year apprenticeship
- Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
- White card
The successful candidate must successfully pass the following pre employment checks prior to their formal offer - Police check, Full medical check, Working with Children Check, Hearing test and Colour confusion test.
