General Operative

Our client, a market leader in the Alcohol Distribution industries, are currently recruiting for experienced General/Warehouse Operatives to join their successful business on a full-time on-going basis.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience within a similar role and/or industry
• A good standard of English (verbal, written, understanding)
• Candidates must be physically fit as some heavy lifting may be required

Job Details:

• Hours of Work: 6pm-3am
• Days of Work: Monday to Friday 
• Rate of Pay: £11ph for under 21s, £11.25ph for over 21s

Duties & Responsibilities:

This is an operative role, so some heavy lifting will be expected. Your role will be picking orders for customers, packing them correctly for delivery and then loading the correct deliveries onto the correct lorries. Opportunities for overtime, career progression and permanent employment can become available for the right candidate.

The role is based in Bedford and is commutable from Milton Keynes, Clapham, Rushden, Northampton and surrounding areas. Our client is situated close to public transportation links. Parking and canteen facilities are also available for all staff use.
