IT PMO Lead – Agile – Coventry
IT PMO Lead required for a leading client based in Coventry. You will come on board where you will be responsible for supporting the organisation with improving project management processes, reporting, tools/guidelines implementation and review.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery.
- Complete and distribute monthly portfolio level reports.
- Strong Governance experience
- Strong Agile experience
- Experience with using a Project Portfolio Management tool to support PMO reporting and activities
- Manage communications from the PMO mailbox, including regular reporting cycle requests.
- Develop and maintain IT PMO reporting KPIs for distribution to Senior IT Management.
- Implement project standards across all projects in the portfolio and globally.
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced IT PMO role, preferably with global or European responsibility.
- Precise attention to detail, with demonstrable experience in documentation.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues client and stakeholders.
- Experience using a Project Portfolio Management tool to support PMO reporting and activities.
- Formal qualification in project management (Prince2, PMI, PMP) preferable
