Salary: GBP800 - GBP900 per day

Oracle Platform Manager – Oracle/HCM/INSIDEIR35 – Birmingham

£850-900 per day (all inclusive) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.

Oracle Platform Manager required for a leading organisation based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for determining the strategic direction of the Oracle platform, ensuring product developments are evaluated and adopted where appropriate in order to maximise value and streamline business processes. You will also be responsible for the overall service quality and application management of the Oracle platform.

The role will involve some travel to their Birmingham office.

Key Skills of the Role:

  • Thorough understanding of Oracle products subscription models and ability to manage compliance
  • Extensive experience of Oracle product implementation and maintenance
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Fusions cloud applications
  • Continual service improvement – ability to identify process optimisation opportunities and lead on the implementation of proposed solutions without impacting on service delivery.
  • Service reporting – ability to produce relevant reports in a standard format in an agreed timeframe.
  • Good knowledge of digital information, digital contexts, design services, new technologies and their potential application.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Frameworks, Methodologies and best practice.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Applications across both ERP and HCM platforms
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with Oracle PaaS and IaaS platforms enabling delivery of reporting and integration solutions
  • Knowledge of Oracle reporting solutions and data handing capabilities
  • Experience of managing the operational delivery of IT services, working with internal and external IT service teams to meet stakeholder/user needs.
  • Ability to lead a team through the full platform lifecycle, continuing to meet user needs by evolving the platform designs.
  • Experience of supplier or vendor management.
  • Previous experience of multiple implementations of Oracle applications across ERP and HCM platforms
  • Experience on managing and delivering system integrations across the Oracle platforms.
  • Strong experience in senior stakeholder management
