Position: Inbound Customer Service Advisor
Location: Manchester & Liverpool - Home Working
Salary: £8.91
HOURS PART TIME – Monday – Friday Between 8am-6pm
Shifts available - 08:00 – 14:00 or 09:00 – 15:00 or 10:30 – 16:30 or 14:00 – 18:00
Hours will be 20 per week and will be working between the above times, rota will be issued in advance.
YOU MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN 60 MILES OF MANCHESTER OR LIVERPOOL AS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING EQUIPMENT FROM THE CLIENT SITE ON DAY ONE AND RETURNING AT THE END OF YOUR ASSIGNMENT.
Our client is currently looking for 250 Customer service Advisors to work remotely from home within 60 miles of Liverpool or Manchester. You will be supplied with the relevant equipment needed to do the role, however you will need a strong internet connection at home.
The primary function of the role is to be the first point of contact and deliver a professional and high quality customer service. This could include dealing with customer/client/ 3rd party contacts, casework and complaints within agreed services levels. You will need to use your own initiative as well as follow established procedures, processes, legislation and systems to source information to provide a resolution for the customer. The role may also involve initiating contact with individuals within the client’s organisation or other 3rd parties in order to perform their job.
Key accountabilities
Respond and resolve customer contacts/ casework/ complaints in a professional and timely manner and in line with associated processes and procedures
Record information on contacts/ casework/ complaints as and when required and maintain accurate records and systems
Manage and protect all customer information, this includes sensitive information in accordance with the relevant legislation
Resolve all dissatisfaction during the first point of contact wherever possible
Communicate and liaise with appropriate individuals and departments internally and externally
Experience of handling customer contacts and resolving customer enquires
Experience of controlling calls to avoid escalations
Ability to communicate both verbally and written
Numeracy skills
Ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit
Ability to plan and organise time and tasks effectively
Expertise in the use of a PC with experience of using office automation tools such as outlook, word, Microsoft teams and excel
