Our client, a law firm in downtown DC is seeking a direct hire HR Generalist to join their team!
About You:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience required.
- Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
- Must have experience with employee relations and performance management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Current PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
The Job:
- Act as a resource to employees and managers on all HR related issues.
- Administer employee benefit programs.
- Implement and coordinate professional development and team training programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Track all HR related reporting requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
