Our client, a nonprofit research organization focused in public health, is seeking a temporary to hire Copyediting Specialist to join their team in downtown DC!
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3+ years of professional copyediting experience required.
- Mastery of Microsoft Word for document creation and publishing.
- Superb writing, editing, copyediting and written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
The Job:
- Edit all reports, both technical and nontechnical, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
- Guide teams on proper document structure and best practices.
- Create layout and templates for all publications.
- Manage timelines and workflow of editorial work, reports, and presentations.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
This is a temporary to hire opportunity that pays $25/hour-$29/hour during the temporary period and converts to a salary of $60K-$70K, depending on experience.
